Happy Friday. Celebrate by watching this quirky video for the newly released game Plants vs. Zombies. The song reminds me of the music for Katamari Damacy, one of my favorite games of all time (although sadly lacking in zombies) and probably the best video game soundtrack ever. And the video actually does a good job introducing you to the game. Win!
See, I know that because I got a review copy of the game last night and stayed up way too late playing it. I will have a full review out as soon as I finish putting it through its paces, but my first impressions are wholly positive. I started playing and the next thing I knew several hours of my life were missing and I had failed to do some necessary work. Damn, that’s a good game! It’s simple enough, at least early on, that anyone can play and enjoy it (I’m guessing it gets harder) and it is definitely worth a look. There is a free demo after all… or just wait until I review it, probably sometime next week.

Bummer about your e-mail. Don’t sweat Dead Snow. It’s good but it isn’t “best movie ever” good or anything.It will come out on Region 1 DVD sooner or later.
