Paul Naschy is dead at 75, after a bout with cancer. The legendary horror actor/writer/director was responsible for Vengeance of the Zombies, so it warrants a mention here. RIP, Mr. Naschy. Unless, you know, you want to come back as a zombie. (Bloody Disgusting)

This week’s DVD releases include Deader Country, about a “strange hybrid creature, a beast that is half man, half alien and ALL zombie.” (Fangoria)

Word is Left 4 Dead 2 has sold over 2 million copies in two weeks. Holy Zombie Apocalypse! And yes, one of those copies was bought by me. Look for a reaction or review piece soon, and add cope (that’s me) as a friend on Xbox Live if you want to kill some zombies together. (Kotaku)

If you need some tunes to soundtrack your roadtrip across a zombie-infested wasteland, this zombie-themed mix is a great start. (
