Wentworth Miller (Prison Break) is playing Chris Redfield in the upcoming Resident Evil: Afterlife. In this interview, Miller talks about the character, the action working with Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson and more. (Fangoria)

Read this feature about REC 2, then go see it in a theater near you (it releases theatrically this weekend!) (Fangoria)

The sequel to low-budget Greek zombie romp Evil (review here) is Evil: In the Time of Heroes and it’s showing at this year’s Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal. There are pictures and a trailer. The trailer you can find embedded below, and it looks to be at least as ridiculous and over the top as its predecessor. I’m suddenly looking forward to this one. (Bloody Disgusting)

Europe will get a special edition of Dead Rising 2 with a ten-inch zombie tourist action figure. DO want! Wonder if the US will get one too? Oh, and you can also get a look at the cover art if that sort of thing excites you. (Kotaku)

If you were thinking epic Western open-world videogame Red Dead Redemption just needed zombies to make it perfect, you will be very pleased to hear that one of its four DLC packs adds zombies to the game. (Kotaku)

Fangoria rounds up a bunch of horror-related panels at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con, including panels by Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and a panel on Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated. (Fangoria)

Get the lowdown on an intriguing/disturbing novel called The Loving Dead by Amelia Beamer, which casts the zombie apocalypse as an STD that creates horny zombies. Icky. (Buy Zombie)

Fans of Dead Space will get a prequel to Dead Space 2 that takes place just before the events of the second game. It’s an arcade/puzzle/interactive comic thing (don’t ask me, I just work here) called Dead Space Ignition and it’s coming this fall to a console system near you (presumably in your living room/bedroom/rumpus room). (Kotaku)

Budget action-RPG Fort Zombie got a major update, full of bug fixes and new content. If that sounds intriguing, make sure to check out the developers Q&A I posted awhile back. (

If skateboarding with zombies sounds like a good idea to you (and you play the videogame Skate 3), have I got a cheat code for you. (A World on Fire)
