Despite mediocre-to-terrible reviews, it looks like Resident Evil: Afterlife is a hit with fans and will easily make the most money of any entry in the series. (Fangoria)

In case you couldn’t guess, that means another Resident Evil movie is coming… (New York Magazine – Vulture)

This week, we’ll learn the backstory of Left 4 Dead with the comic The Sacrifice. The first of four parts hits tomorrow (online presumably, but they don’t really specify). (Official Left 4 Dead Blog)

I feel like it’s been seen before, but just in case, here’s a link to a tiny image from The Walking Dead that was in Entertainment Weekly. (Dread Central)

It’s zombie week over at Tor.com! That means a shitload of zombie content, from a Neil Gaiman story to a zombie playlist from a guy I sort of work with, Jason Heller!

One of the original producers of Night of the Living Dead, John Russo, is working on a sleazy, cheesy sounding zombie flick called Escape of the Living Dead. Aryan bikers, ass-kicking/zombie-killing chicks and a mad scientist all figure in. (Dread Central)

Get some info on the making of the banshee/zombie flick Damned by Dawn from writer/director Brett Anstey. Cockroaches, cold weather and an aborted attempt at Hammer horror all figure in the making-of… (Fangoria)

If you want to get insight into the author of Married with Zombies, this interview with author Jesse Petersen is just the thing. (Adventures of Cecelia Bedelia)

If you’d like to read some poetry and prose inspired by the zombie apocalypse, the book Warriors of the Zombie Hamlet should scratch your itch, because that is what it is. (Small Town Social)

Finally, how about a great-looking trailer for a almost-certainly fake IMAX 3D movie called Zombies del Bicentenario, celebrating Mexico’s bicentennial (with zombies)? It’s embedded below. (Quiet Earth)
