It seems that Mireille Enos, star of that other hit show on AMC called The Killing, is now set to be a part of the upcoming movie World War Z. (The Examiner)
I really hope all of the internet marketing for Dylan Dog is going to make up for the complete lack of television advertising. I don’t want to see it become another Scott Pilgrim. None the less, here’s an awesome little interview with Kevin Munroe, the director of the film. (Crave Online)
It might be a slow news day, but that doesn’t mean it’s not one of the best news days we’ve ever had. Now it’s no secret that I’m not a huge fan of Call of Duty: Black Ops (to which I lovingly refer to as “CODBLOPS” or just “BLOPS”) but this new trailer has changed my mind. They’ve basically taken all of the military shooter garbage out of the game, replaced the cast with Danny “Mexican Bruce Willis” Trejo, Sarah Michelle “I was fucking Buffy” Gellar, Robert “I’ll haunt your dreams” Englund, and Michael “I’m always the bad guy” Rooker, and taken inspiration from George “The grandfather of all things zombie” Romero to make an entirely new game about a group of survivors running from the undead. It’s part of the new Escalation downloadable content pack and will be called Call of the Dead. Check out the retro 70’s trailer after the break. For the love of God watch the trailer! (Gamertag Radio)
I saw that earlier. It has me seriously considering re-buying BLOPS just for that. Grrrrr.
Plus, casting for WWZ really has me finally feeling that it’s happening!
Also, Michael Rooker was a great good guy in Cliffhanger!
Damn you BLOPS!
For what it’s worth, BBC America has been showing ads for Dylan Dog during Top Gear and Doctor Who, and I’ve seen a couple on G4.
