Live in the Denver area and want to show off your zombie skills while possibly making minimum wage? Well a local amusement park is hiring zombies and holding auditions from now until September 25. (9 News)

FINALLY someone has spoken up about Frank Darabont, The Walking Dead, the future of the show, and Darabont’s possible future on said show. That person was Robert Kirkman. (Fangoria)

Speaking of The Walking Dead, the television show is set to dominate at Spikes 6th annual Scream Awards with six nominations while the comic book is nominated twice. (Buy Zombie)

While we can’t embed the trailer (thanks Kotaku) we can tell you that the new trailer for Resident Evil: Revelations on the 3DS appeals to the 13 year old boy in all of us. It features a new female character who’s got a bigger middle cleavage area than Power Girl. (Kotaku)

Cory sent this to me today and I had to share it with you all. If you’ve got a small child then you don’t have to worry about their safety in the zombie apocalypse, provided you read them a copy of the new soon to be best selling children’s book That’s Not Your Mommy Anymore. (io9)

Okay, I technically have no idea what this cool zombie twitter video is promoting. I’m assuming it’s for a studio trying to get their name out there. It’s really cool though, and does a good job of pulling a World War Z style (the book) approach to storytelling through social media like Twitter and YouTube.

After the break, check out this cool behind the scenes special effects tutorial for the upcoming film A Little Bit Zombie. (Buy Zombie)

John Malkovich, best known for, well… Being John Malkovich, is the latest actor to throw his hat into the Twilight meets Night of the Living Dead movie Warm Bodies. (Hollywood Reporter)

Dead Island was already off to a rough start before it even shipped. Then it shipped a broken early production copy of the game to Steam users making it even more unpopular. Now it seems that in that broken copy, the main female lead has the ability to do extra damage to male characters in what the game called (but later renamed) “Feminist Whore” mode. Good job guys. Deep Silver has already thrown the blame on a third party developer to try and soften the blow. (Kotaku)

Apparently Polish zombies aren’t too keen on being given the same insults as their living brethren. This trailer for Wataha shows just how angry and deadly they can be. (Dread Central)

So at this past DragonCon they had a big Walking Dead panel, mostly filled with third party cast, and the kid stars. What was interesting is that eight separate times before and during the panel, they made a point to tell the audience that no questions about Frank Darabont would be allowed or answered. It’s strange to see how AMC is handling this through silence. Check out the (long) video after the break and judge for yourself. (io9)

Greetings undead lovers! I’m back from a weekend camping trip on an island that was not full of zombies and I’m ready to bring you some great news.

In the mood to kill yet even more time at work on the company internet? If so, you should check out The Last Stand – Union City, a browser based side scrolling action adventure zombie survival game that’s not too shabby. (g-hacks)

Uwe Boll, the man who brought us every good horrible movie from the last decade, is back on the case and producing Zombie Massacre with Marco Ristori and Luca Boni who brought us Eaters not too long ago. It’s based on a 1998 game of the same name that no one played but seems like a good premise. (Worst Previews)

Neal, one of the guys over at Fancy Dress Outfitters who sent us that cool zombie garden shed survival infographic earlier in the year, sent us the latest thing they’ve whipped up, a nice Halloween zombie guide supporting free range zombie death that’s just as informative.

Now because I know you all had a long weekend (well most of you anyway) I’ve put together some good videos to help you unwind after a boring day back at the office. They’re all after the break.

Project Zomboid, the build, craft, survival zombie apocalypse themed game for the PC, has just received it’s first alpha update. You can pre order the game to start playing now and get future updates, much like Minecraft, or check out their demo to see if it’s for you. (GamePro)

After the break, check out the first episode of Transmission, a Florida based zombie web series that has a lot of promise. (Florida Times-Union)

Here’s a pretty awesome trailer (after the break) for More Brains! A Return to the Living Dead, a documentary about the 1985 classic film. (Dread Central)

AMC will air the first seven episodes of The Walking Dead (starting with a 90 minute premiere) in October, and the next six episodes will air in February 2012. I think I speak for all of us when I say WHY!? (Hollywood Reporter)

It’s unknown if this is going to be a new alternate reality game, but the Umbrella Corporation from Resident Evil now has a website. Stay tuned for more on this as it develops. (Buy Zombie)
