We’ll start off the news today with a nice bit of Walking Dead information.

We’ve got a whopping 15 seconds of shaky camera footage after the break from Resident Evil: The Mercenaries which will be a Nindendo 3DS launch game. Hey, it’s better than nothing right? (Kotaku)

We’ve also got a slightly better trailer (visually, not graphically) of The Zombie Shotgun Massacre 2, which is making it’s way to the Xbox 360 soon. (Buy Zombie)

There’s some nice crowd and town approval of the Humans vs Zombies filming that was recently filmed in Pittsburg, Texas. (Channel 7 KLTV)

Well, even though the movie is still in development hell, we’ve got a trailer for the 2011 comic release of the latest run of the supernatural (and zombie filled) series Death Walks the Streets. (FEARnet)

It’s a sad day for collegiate English professors and fans of the undead as it was just announced that director David O. Russel has walked off of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, due to scheduling conflicts with Natalie Portman. (New York Magazine – Vulture)

So, Dead Rising 2 is out now! And here’s the second part of the an interview with Dead Rising 2 producer Josh Bridge. (Fangoria)

A couple of “behind-the-scenes” (and I use that term loosely) videos about Barry Levinson’s zombie-making sea-critter movie The Bay (aka Isopod) have found their way to the Internetz. None of it’s too exciting … some stills of where it is shooting (South Carolina) with music playing in one, some hicks talking about it filming in the other. There’s also some casting info. Gamers, rejoice! Zombie shooting co-op modes are officially confirmed for Call of Duty: Black Ops. (Kotaku)

The fancy-pants new Nintendo 3DS will get Resident Evil: Mercenaries, a game that takes several bonus modes from RE 4 & 5, turns them all 3Dified and spins them off into a standalone game. (Kotaku)

The official one-sheet for AMC’s TV adaptation of The Walking Dead has arrived. To no one’s surprise, it’s fucking awesome. (Dread Central)

In a rather inspired idea, MTV had the actors from the latest Resident Evil film tackle the infamously bad lines of dialog from the original game. Hilarity ensues. The video is embedded below for you. (MTV Multiplayer)

There’s a pretty shoddy looking trailer for a mutant biker vs zombie movie called El Brazo Grande vs the Living Dead embedded below. Think Troma, but cheaper looking. The fact that they had no idea how to shoot or edit a trailer makes me leery of the finished product, but maybe it will flip your skirts. (Buy Zombie)

Even worse (maybe) is the new trailer for Big Tits Zombie 3D. Man, does it ever look shitty! Kind of intentionally so, but I think that makes it worse, not better. The traler is non-embeddable, so you’ll have to click away to see it. (Dread Central)

The next entry in the free-roaming city/crime sandbox game Yakuza series, called Yakuza: Of the End, will plop you into the middle of a city full of zombies. Great news, or greatest news? (1up)

Makeup artist Paul Jones talks about his work on Resident Evil: Afterlife. It’s part two of a longer interview; I linked to part one of the Paul Jones interview a while ago. (Fangoria)

Looks like Dead Rising star Frank West will be in Dead Rising 2 — as DLC. It’ll be called Dead Rising 2: Case West. (FEARnet)

Some guy named Andy Fickman is directing an in-development movie called Boy Scouts vs. Zombies. His previous work includes Race to Witch Mountain and apparently he’s working on a remake of I Walked with a Zombie. I don’t know how to feel about this. (Bloody Disgusting)

In other WTF? news, MTV is developing a mockumentary style comedy/horror show called Death Valley, about cops who fight off zombies, vampires and other monsters. Is there any chance this could be good? (Dread Central)

London’s GoreZone Film Festival, on October 2 and 3, will have two zombie movies (Prometheus Rising and The Devil’s Playground) among its thirteen features. (Dread Central)

In LA? Want to see zombie/vampire madness movie The Dead Matter on a giant boat this weekend? man, are you in luck! It’s getting its LA premiere at 7 p.m. Saturday on the Queen Mary. Tickets are $7. (Dread Central)
